Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Resume Formatter (the "Service"), operated by RemoteCruit ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

Resume Formatter turns uploaded candidate resumes into formatted, anonymized, brand-styled PDF documents. Processing uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence. While we work hard to make the output accurate, you are responsible for reviewing every generated document before sending it to anyone — including confirming that personal details were removed as expected.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your login. Workspace owners may invite team members; owners are responsible for the activity of their workspace, including managing member access and credit limits.

The Service uses prepaid credits. New workspaces receive complimentary credits; additional credits can be purchased in packages. Credits have no cash value, are not redeemable or transferable outside your workspace, and — unless required by law — are non-refundable once used. Prices may change; changes never affect credits you already hold.

You retain all rights to the resumes and other content you upload. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service — for example, extracting text, generating formatted documents, and storing your history so you can re-download it. We do not sell your content, and we do not use your uploaded resumes to train AI models. You are responsible for having the right to upload and process the resumes you submit, including any consent required from the individuals they describe.

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to access other customers' data, reverse engineering the Service, uploading malicious content, using the Service to violate any law (including employment and data-protection laws), or reselling the Service without our written permission.

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may add, change, or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces the Service, we will make reasonable efforts to notify account owners.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon deletion, your access ends; certain records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date above and, for material changes, notify account owners by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
